Our Story

Our Story

THIS BRAND STARTED WITH A LIFE THAT NEEDED SAVING.

My name is Shane, and for more than 30 years, alcohol had a hold on my life.

I took my first drink at 16. What started there followed me through adulthood, marriage, fatherhood, and years when, from the outside, I could still look like I had everything together.

But I didn't.

Alcohol was taking pieces of my life a little at a time. It affected my wife, my sons, my relationships, and eventually brought me to a place where I was close to losing everything.

At 48 years old, I reached the end of myself.

My wife took a picture of me passed out. Seeing that picture forced me to see what the people who loved me had been seeing for years. I couldn't keep pretending I had control of something that had been controlling me for most of my life.

But that wasn't the end of my story.

It was the beginning of a new one.

Men from my church prayed for me. I surrendered. And on August 19, 2023, my life changed.

Two days later, I walked into rehab.

I wish I could tell you that strength was finally getting myself together. It wasn't.

Strength was finally admitting that I couldn't do it on my own.

Jesus met me in the lowest place of my life. He gave me something alcohol never could—freedom, peace, forgiveness, and a reason to keep moving forward.

That's where Saved & Sober by Jesus came from.

It wasn't created around a marketing idea or because I thought the world needed another clothing brand. It came from what happened in my own life.

I was saved.
I became sober.
And Jesus gets the credit.

The words we put on our clothing mean something to me because I've lived them.

SAVED isn't just a word.

STRENGTH FOUND IN CHRIST isn't just a phrase.

Broken chains aren't just a design.

They are reminders of a life I never thought I would have again.

Today, when I look back at where I was, I don't tell my story because I'm proud of my past. I tell it because I'm grateful for what God did with it.

And if part of my story—or something we create—reaches somebody who feels trapped, ashamed, too far gone, or convinced that their story is already written, I hope it reminds them of one thing:

This isn't the end of your story.

I'm living proof that God can still write another chapter.
